Electrical Engineer

What You Will Do as Electrical Engineer:
- Design new machinery, including stator, rotor components, and complete systems, as well as upgrades and retrofits
- Perform root cause analysis on failed machinery and create detailed repair instructions
- Lead engineering activities across all project phases, including client-facing responsibilities
- Conduct on-site diagnostics and compile life assessment reports for machinery
- Provide service and maintenance support while assisting with tendering and project management tasks
- Develop and oversee test methodologies for dynamic testing of large machines, analysing results and ensuring quality control
What You Will Bring as Electrical Engineer:
- Proven knowledge of engineering design for medium and large high-voltage rotating electrical machines
- Experience with electromagnetic design tools such as MotorCAD or COMSOL
- Familiarity with various manufacturing techniques and at least five years of professional engineering experience
- A degree in engineering or equivalent HND/HNC qualification with relevant experience
- Strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and excellent documentation capabilities
