2 x Assembly Operatives required in Stafford Park (Telford).
Location: Stafford Park, Telford
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Shift Pattern: Working 39.5 hours a week, Mon to Thu 7:30am – 4:00pm and Fri 7:30am – 3:00pm
Due to continued growth, we are looking to hire 2 Assembly Operatives to join a well established manufacturing business in Stafford Park, please note there will be an initial 3-month probation period, after which, all being well, the role will become permanent.
The hiring manager would prefer someone who has worked in a sheet metal / fabrication manufacturing business previously, this job would be a great fit for someone who has previously worked as a Linisher, Fettler, Riveter, Assembly Technician, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Assembly Worker, Production Technician or Machine Operative within the Sheet Metal or Fabrication sector.
What You’ll Do:
- Assembling multi‑material components such as aluminium, steel, and polycarbonate sheeting
- Using tools and machinery including riveters, drills, power tools, hand tools and cutting equipment
- Cutting components to size and fastening via riveting, drilling, bolting, etc.
- Working safely at all times, following company processes and quality standards
- Receiving full job‑specific training to support your development
What We’re Looking:
- Experience or understanding of working in a fast‑paced manufacturing or workshop environment
- Ability to follow instructions, processes, and deadlines
- Competent using hand tools and power tools
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- A forklift licence would be beneficial but not essential
