Are you a qualified Maintenance Electrician with experience in facilities and building services? We are seeking a skilled and proactive Facilities Maintenance Electrician to support the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of a busy manufacturing site in Coventry. This role focuses primarily on site-wide electrical infrastructure, building services, and facilities maintenance rather than production machinery. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the workplace remains fully operational, compliant, and safe for all employees.
What You Will Do

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on site electrical systems and building services.

Maintain and fault-find on lighting systems, emergency lighting, power distribution, and small power circuits.

Inspect, test, and maintain electrical panels and distribution boards.

Support maintenance of HVAC systems, extraction systems, and associated controls.

Conduct periodic electrical inspections and ensure compliance with current regulations.

Respond promptly to facilities-related breakdowns and maintenance requests.

Liaise with external contractors for specialist services and oversee works when required.

Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure full compliance with health & safety legislation.

Assist with minor mechanical and general facilities tasks when necessary.
What You Will Bring

NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.

18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential or highly desirable).

Experience working within a facilities, building services, or industrial site environment.

Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems and building infrastructure.

Experience with emergency lighting testing and compliance checks.

Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and building layouts.

A proactive, safety-first mindset with strong fault-finding skills.

Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with contractors and internal teams.
