A leading food manufacturing is seeking a mechanically bias Maintenance Engineer to conduct routine, reactive maintenance and setting of machinery. You will have experience of conducting routine & reactive maintenance with experience of welding and fabrication.
Salary hourly paid- up to £18 per hour plus call out & overtime.
Working hours
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 06:00 – 15:30
Wednesday 0600 – 1515
What You Will Do:
– Maintain and repair machinery and associated equipment, including setting and machines and ventilation systems.
– Support improvement projects to enhance operational efficiency.
– Ensure compliance with health, safety, and poultry welfare standards.
– Work independently within farm buildings and handle manual processes, including lifting equipment up to 25 kg.
– Prioritise workload effectively while contributing to a strong team environment.
What You Will Bring:
– Qualification in a relevant engineering trade.
– Broad understanding of mechanical processes and assemblies.
– Knowledge of facilities maintenance, including welding, fabrication, plumbing, and pipe fitting.
– Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
– A committed, reliable, and flexible attitude with the ability to use initiative.
