Project Manager
Contract: Initial 3 months (strong potential to extend)
Salary: DOE

This is a hands-on Project Manager opportunity for someone with mechanical or capital equipment experience who can step in, take ownership, and help steady a busy project portfolio during a peak period.
We’re looking for a confident Project Manager who thrives in technical environments and enjoys working collaboratively.
The Role
As Project Manager, you’ll manage engineering projects from pre-contract through delivery and client sign-off, ensuring they’re delivered on time and to budget. You’ll also support other Project Managers and engineering teams as workload demands.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading projects from pre-contract through delivery and client sign-off
- Supporting and advising other Project Managers, engineers, and delivery teams
- Attending and reporting at pre- and post-contract meetings with clients
- Managing procurement of materials, goods, and services for best value
- Expediting suppliers to meet programme and delivery milestones
- Ensuring construction phase H&S plans, risk assessments, COSHH and final H&S files
- Supporting tendering activities with lead-time input and project costing insight
- Producing monthly project financial reports, forecasts, and lessons-learned reviews
- Assisting with client invoicing where required
About You
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in mechanical, machinery, or capital equipment projects is ESSENTIAL
- Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communicator with a positive, can-do attitude
- Proficient in MS Project and MS Office
