LASER OPERATORS REQUIRED IN CHESHIRE!!!
Do you have previous experience operating a CNC Laser machine and are you seeking a new permanent job role within the Cheshire area?! If so get in touch with me today as we are recruiting 2 Laser Operators on a permanent contract.
The annual salary will depend on your experience, but the basic salary would be anything between £27,347 – £35,568 per annum, and you would be required to work a rotating 6-2/2-10 shift pattern (38 hours per week).
Overtime opportunities are available and are paid at T1/3 after 39 hours, and T1/2 after 48 hours, and this business also offers a £2,000 new starter incentive bonus which is a staggered payment.
The hiring manager would prefer someone who has worked on a Trumpf Laser, but they are open to looking at people who have worked on an Amada Laser.
An NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Engineering, Manufacturing or a related discipline is preferred but not essential.
What You Will Do:
- Operate Trumpf CNC laser machines with precision and efficiency.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD layouts to ensure accurate cutting processes.
- Perform basic mechanical maintenance on machines to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with the team to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Maintain a strong focus on quality and detail in every task.
- Utilise Trumpf software, such as TruTops and Boost, to optimise work flows.
What You Will Bring:
- Proven experience in operating CNC laser machines.
- Strong understanding of laser cutting processes and steel materials.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with confidence.
- Practical, hands-on skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Engineering or Manufacturing (preferred).
