What You Will Do:
– Design and integrate hydraulic systems and subsystems for advanced armoured vehicles.
– Analyse customer requirements and translate them into functional system designs.
– Produce calculations, design documents, and FMEA for hydraulic systems.
– Collaborate with electrical, software, and mechanical engineers to create integrated solutions.
– Manage technical aspects of supplier relationships, ensuring adherence to specifications and schedules.
– Participate in assembly, commissioning, and testing of hydraulic systems, including occasional off-site work.
What You Will Bring:
– Must be a Uk national as the role is a British eyes only role due to Secruitry clearance.
– Degree-level education or equivalent engineering experience.
– Expertise in hydraulic systems engineering, including CETOP Level 3 Qualification in Mobile Hydraulic Systems (ideal).
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
– Familiarity with CAD tools like Siemens NX and PLM systems such as Teamcenter.
– Experience in military armoured vehicle design, subsystem integration, or heavy equipment engineering is highly desirable.
