We are working with a world class power transmission equipment company, who are seeking a talented CNC Machinist – Turner to join their innovative team in Coventry. What You Will Do:
– Set and operate CNC Lathes (Fanuc/G-Code) with precision and efficiency.
– Generate CNC machine programmes and ensure components meet manufacturing specifications.
– Read and interpret engineering drawings, understanding tolerances and requirements.
– Assist other operatives with setups, tooling, and cutting details to optimise performance.
– Identify and prepare tooling, fixtures, and machine programme needs in advance to minimise downtime.
– Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cutting fluid checks, and machine cleaning.
What You Will Bring:
– Proven experience as a CNC Machinist – Turner, with a minimum of two years in a similar role.
– Strong ability to understand and read G codes.
– A-Level or equivalent education.
– Expertise in working with Fanuc/G-Code CNC Lathes.
– A proactive and detail-oriented approach to machining components with precision.
