A FMCG manufacturing company are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Project Manager to lead exciting projects that will shape the future of manufacturing operations. Monday to Friday- Office hours with some flexibility due to project management.
Salary £45,000 to £55,000 plus Benefits
What You Will Do:
– Conduct Safety & Operability Reviews for all projects, ensuring compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental standards.
– Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans, and collaborating with management to align goals.
– Manage project specifications by studying design requirements, completing technical studies, and preparing cost estimates.
– Monitor project schedules, resolve issues, and coordinate activities to ensure timely delivery.
– Control project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
– Maintain compliance with legal requirements and uphold product safety standards, including HACCP and allergen considerations.
What You Will Bring:
– A degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience gained through an apprenticeship.
– Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, or FMCG operations.
– Expertise in project management, including design skills, process improvement, and safety management.
– Proficiency in CAD, CAD/CAM, and circuit design, with a keen eye for technical documentation.
– Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate and deliver results.
