The role is paying up to £35k per annum on a temp to perm basis.
What You Will Do:
– Create accurate quotations from customer drawings using your knowledge of CNC manufacturing processes.
– Ensure customer requirements are understood and communicated effectively across internal departments.
– Perform contract reviews to validate pricing, revisions, and quantities, ensuring accurate input into the Master Price List.
– Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries, handling both technical and commercial issues.
– Develop and nurture new customer accounts while maintaining existing relationships.
– Collaborate with planning, production control, and engineering teams to ensure the company meets customer requirements and deadlines.
– Production planning and supporting the planning team.
What You Will Bring:
– Previous experience in estimating, sales, and production planning within the engineering industry.
– A recognised engineering qualification, such as an HND in Mechanical Engineering or a completed apprenticeship, is desirable.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, with the ability to use formulas effectively.
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and confident telephone manner.
– A proactive, organised, and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work as part of a team.
