Friction Weld Operator – Wolverhampton
£12.55 per hour PAYE + 12.5% Shift (Double Days) + Overtime

What You Will Do:
- Prepare for work by studying Weld Procedures, SOPs, Work Order details, drawings, and parts lists, and gathering the necessary tools and materials.
- Operate friction welding equipment, ensuring components are free from oil and damage before use.
- Conduct visual inspections and measurements to verify the quality of completed components, reporting any defects to supervision.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, following manufacturer instructions and reporting repair needs as necessary.
- Accurately record time, batch cards, inspection records, and other required documentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to procedures and regulations.
What You Will Bring:
- Experience or familiarity with friction welding processes or similar manufacturing operation environments.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions, including SOPs, Quality Instructions, and Risk Assessments.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
- A commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards in the workplace.
