Senior Performance & Emissions Calibration Engineer – South Derbyshire – Permanent plus excellent benefits

What You Will Do:
- Develop and execute calibration test plans to align with project objectives and deadlines.
- Conduct calibration development work on dyno and machine platforms, including climatic testing.
- Support the development and validation of emissions-critical systems, such as combustion systems, fuel injection equipment, air handling, and aftertreatment technologies.
- Deliver calibration datasets covering base engine performance, emissions, and diagnostics for both engine and aftertreatment systems.
- Collaborate with principal engineers to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and processes.
- Document and present technical findings to stakeholders and support work packages within the company’s New Product Introduction Process.
What You Will Bring:
- Hands-on experience in engine calibration or dyno testing.
- Strong knowledge of internal combustion engine fundamentals, emissions formation, and aftertreatment operation.
- Familiarity with calibration tools, engine management systems, and data analysis methods.
- Practical experience in running tests, troubleshooting, and managing calibration data.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to thrive in a team environment.
