What You Will Do:
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic components and sub-assemblies to exacting standards.
- Build fabricated assemblies of varying sizes and complexities using skills such as marking out, cutting, folding, pipe bending, weld joint preparation, and hydraulic and pneumatic runs.
- Work from manufacturing drawings, general arrangement drawings, and sub-assembly instructions to ensure precision and alignment.
- Conduct quality checks on completed assemblies to verify dimensions, alignment, and overall finish.
- Maintain compliance with Health & Safety policies, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Undertake additional duties as required to support the production team and meet company objectives.
What You Will Bring:
- A solid engineering background with proven experience in mechanical fitting and assembly.
- Expertise in using hand and power tools to construct large and small fabricated components.
- Knowledge of circuitry related to pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrics, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Experience in industries such as aviation, military, marine, or similar sectors is highly advantageous.
