Technical Author – 56377 – Dunton (4days on-site/1 Remote) – £33.81/hour – Inside IR35

What You Will Do:
- Create and update Body & Equipment Mounting Manuals (BEMM) using Adobe In-Design, ensuring content is clear, concise, and customer-focused.
- Utilise 3D CAD data from TeamCentre and VisMockup to design layered images in Adobe Photoshop, incorporating annotations to explain technical changes.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to consolidate input, facilitate discussions, and gain consensus on technical content for publication.
- Manage updates to the BEMM in line with the company’s loading/capacity chart, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of content.
- Ensure all documentation is prepared for translation into multiple European languages, maintaining a global perspective throughout the authoring process.
- Support the Senior Engineer by contributing to cross-functional discussions and delivering high-quality outputs.
What You Will Bring:
- Expertise in Adobe In-Design, with experience in Class Styles, Anchoring, Hyperlinks, and managing tables and images.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, as well as familiarity with Catia 5, TeamCentre, VisMockup, and SharePoint.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and SMEs.
- A meticulous eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple updates while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
- Experience in creating technical documentation that considers translation requirements and customer usability.
