What You Will Do:
– Design, detail, and develop machinery and tooling using SolidWorks to meet technical and commercial requirements.
– Create proposal drawings to support the quotation process and client presentations.
– Ensure all documentation, including schedules, manuals, and spares lists, is updated, referenced, and stored efficiently.
– Identify and implement opportunities for cost reductions, improved efficiencies, and process enhancements.
– Collaborate during machine trials and testing, ensuring designs meet quality and reliability standards.
– Travel internationally to client sites, providing hands-on support and expertise where required.
What You Will Bring:
– Proficiency in SolidWorks and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
– Strong organisational and communication skills, with experience working in a team environment.
– A problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyse situations and deliver timely solutions.
– Commercial awareness and an understanding of manufacturing processes.
– Ideally, an HNC or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering, along with a full passport and readiness for international travel.
