Business Growth Manager – EV Motorcycles – USA

(Hybrid based)

Our client is a globally recognised motorcycle brand with real heritage in the UK and internationally. In supporting and further developing their position within the USA motorcycle sector, we are seeking a NEW Business Growth Manager who will be responsible for creating buy-in on the product vision for EV business on behalf of my client, both internally and with key external partners.

Home based and travelling as required, the successful incumbent will lead the development of product pricing and positioning strategies along with the Product Strategy Teams, manage scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact; drive product launches including working with the communications team, executives, and other product/brand management team members.

With a focus on EV motorcycles, the Business Growth Manager will also be responsible for:

–    Acting as a product evangelist and an in-house EV expert with complete ownership of our clients’ EV product pipeline to build awareness and understanding

–    Work closely with globally positioned Product Strategy, Product Development, Brand Managers, Operations, Marketing and Commercial stakeholders to draw on your market insight, guide their strategic decisions, and shape how their business works to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources

–    Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes

–    Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that improve customer experience and drive growth

–    Developing brand activations & partnerships and overseeing brand initiatives

–    Developing the channel network strategy, making them stable sales channels, motivated to introduce new products in the market

–    Creating and executing an annual brand plan for our clients’ offerings to build brand awareness & aspiration through the brand’s positioning in priority markets

–    Strategize, plan and lead the execution of brand portfolio strategy and develop relevant campaigns

–    Liaison with content & digital team to develop and disseminate communication for various initiative

–    Representing the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services

–    Engaging our customers and bringing to life the benefits of using their electric vehicle solutions over traditional options

–    Implement new systems or processes related to the management of EV Sales.

This position is a senior role in the organisation and is instrumental in the continued expansion of their brand and range of motorcycles in the USA. It will have close contact with the international Group.

With a Degree or Masters in business, marketing or relating technical field; you will have/should be:

–    Have an exceptional knowledge and a successful background in electric & hybrid vehicles market scape and associated technologies – including infrastructure, charging, funding- acting as an advocate for electric vehicles.

–    10 – 15 years of relevant work experience preferred

–    Proven work experience in business growth, product management, strategy and EV sales

–    Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle

–    Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management

–    Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done

–    Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization

–    Excellent written and verbal communication skills

–    Possessing clear brand sensibility and creative abilities

–    Passion for motorcycling and experience of working with Lifestyle/youth brands would be an advantage
