What You Will Do:

 

 – Analyse and manage purchase orders through an MRP system, including order placement, supplier expediting, and performance evaluation. – Negotiate and implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining quality and delivery standards. – Analyse inventory levels and manage stock parameters to meet company targets. – Collaborate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and maintain optimal inventory levels. – Provide regular reports and updates to the management team, contributing to strategic decision-making.

 

What You Will Bring:

 

– A minimum of two years’ supply chain experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment. – Proficiency in Excel and ideally an MRP system, as well as strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including V-lookups and pivot tables. – Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyse data effectively. – A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving and teamwork. – Experience in planning, stock control, and inventory analysis is highly desirable.

This role is based in Cradley Heath, with the potential for occasional travel to suppliers and other UK sites.
