Laboratory Technician – Reading – Up to £19.81/hr – Inside IR35

What You Will Do:
- Provide hands-on assistance in laboratory operations, ensuring the smooth running of daily activities.
- Administer samples for scientific analysis, including creating records, assigning tests, and maintaining chain-of-custody for controlled samples.
- Perform routine pharmacopoeial analysis and operate basic laboratory equipment under supervision.
- Use laboratory software systems, including LIMS and Q-Pulse, to input results and manage data effectively.
- Conduct experiments, support assigned projects, and contribute to technical reports under guidance.
- Assist with laboratory housekeeping, routine equipment checks, and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
What You Will Bring:
- A scientific background gained through education or technical apprenticeship.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using relevant software applications and a willingness to learn new systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A proactive, adaptable, and hardworking attitude, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
