Salary £45,000 to £55,000 plus Benefits
What You Will Do:
– Lead the electrical design and control systems engineering for the company’s innovative product development team.
– Develop and specify new, cutting-edge products tailored to customer requirements.
– Continue the company’s established PLC strategy, ensuring systems operate efficiently at customer sites.
– Create electrical operational documentation and control systems data as needed.
– Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and control system issues, collaborating with suppliers and contractors.
– Contribute to safety assessments, compliance checks, and design validation plans for electrical components.
What You Will Bring:
– A degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in electrical engineering, automation, control systems, or a related field.
– Strong experience in electrical design, including hardware development, cabinet layout, and compliance calculations.
– Proficiency in PLC programming, particularly CODESYS, and familiarity with Schneider Machine Expert.
– Knowledge of industrial communication protocols.
– A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex ideas clearly.
