Functional Safety Validation Engineer (Charging Systems) – Whitley, Coventry (Hybrid) – Up to £33.88/hr – Inside IR35

What You Will Do:
- Review charging software requirements related to Functional Safety and develop test cases to ensure compliance with ISO26262 standards.
- Execute design verification methods, ensuring that products meet the highest quality standards and provide a seamless customer experience.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and systems engineers, to deliver safety-related verification activities.
- Use FMEA processes to ensure all potential escape points are addressed and resolved effectively.
- Drive the development of efficient control system logic to meet functional safety requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical solutions and processes within the Charging Group.
What You Will Bring:
- Strong technical knowledge of ISO26262 standards, particularly Parts 4, 5, and 6.
- Proven experience in developing and executing test cases for complex electrical software systems.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems using formal methods such as 8D, DMAIC, or Six Sigma.
- A collaborative mindset with experience working in Agile environments to deliver high-paced projects.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to delivering innovative solutions.
