Rotating Day Shift – Monday – Friday
What You Will Do:
- Oversee site facilities management, including lighting, plumbing, sprinkler systems, fire alarm maintenance, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct general repairs to buildings, roads, drains, and other infrastructure while ensuring compliance with insurance and BRC standards.
- Manage contractors effectively, including issuing permits to work and ensuring safety standards are met.
- Support engineering teams with TPM activities, including PPM cycles, corrective work, and compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering management to resolve machine issues and optimise production equipment performance.
- Implement cost-effective solutions while adhering to budgetary constraints, ensuring value for the business.
What You Will Bring:
- Certification as a qualified craftsperson with NVQ or C&G in Mechanical, Electrical, or Multi-skilled disciplines.
- Proven experience in a maintenance environment, ideally within the FMCG sector.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and a strong track record of adhering to PPM schedules.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse teams and contractors.
- A hands-on, detail-oriented approach, with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
This role is pivotal to the company’s mission of delivering excellence, the Maintenance Technician TPM / Facilities will play a key part in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of the company’s operations, contributing to its reputation for quality and service.
You will have current or recent experience working as a building services engineer, facilities engineer, TPM engineer or Site Services Engineer.
