Shift: 4 on 4 off rotating days and nights
What You Will Do:
- Take a leading role in promoting and ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of staff and visitors.
- Perform reactive, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), and corrective maintenance tasks, providing detailed feedback on root causes and solutions via the CMMS system.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards in working areas, including workshops, ensuring they remain safe and well-organised.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on a variety of plant and equipment, ensuring timely and professional resolution to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with the Engineering and Production teams to analyse operational issues and implement effective solutions.
- Provide holiday cover for colleagues, ensuring smooth operations by taking on full sets of shifts with a minimum of two weeks’ notice.
What You Will Bring:
- ONC, NVQ or C&G qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with apprenticeship training and electrical qualifications.
- Proven experience in a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment, with a strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Methodical problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver effective solutions both independently and as part of a team.
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for mentoring and supporting colleagues.

You will have current or recent experience as maintenance technician, shift engineer, service engineer, electrical maintenance engineer, mechanical maintenance engineer or multiskilled maintenance engineer.
