We are working with a Manufacturing organisation in the Redditch area who are looking for a Systems Administrator to join them. This is a new role in line with the growth of the organisation. The role is part of a small IT team and will report to an IT Manager who is based at another site. This a predominantly an onsite role providing IT expertise for a manufacturing site, working a 38 hour week around core business hours with an early finish on Friday.

As the Systems Administrator you will be in a varied role helping with system support and administration and the ongoing project work at the site. They are looking for someone with a can do attitude and problem solving abilities  to cover Deskside, Server and Network areas across Software, Hardware and Applications. The main responsibilities are varied and will involve:

  • Answering calls and responding to emails that go through our helpdesk to support internal and external users, making sure that their experience with our IT systems is as smooth running as possible.
  • Administrating a multi-site Microsoft Windows virtualised network environment.
  • Securing, managing and monitoring servers, work stations &  IOT devices within all our facilities.
  • Developing new business processes and creating the required documentation.
  • Documenting the current infrastructure and processes within the business.
  • Project managing key IT projects, ensuring they run on time and to budget.

The organisation are looking for someone to have the following background:

As a Senior Financial Controller, your key responsibility would be to research, identify, design, deploy, document and train the business processes in the scope of Order Management in a sustainable and quantifiable way to address the business growth agenda. You would monitor, review, analyse and improve the performance of these processes to lead improvements in the existing environment, ways-of-working and through innovative digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Excel in the Order-to-Cash processes, from order receipt to final invoicing for B2B and D2C channels

The Bill of Materials Engineering team within Product Information is responsible for creating and maintaining the Bill of Material in the early phases of programmes. The team also perform a number of quality checks to ensure the completeness and accuracy of those BoMs for several gateways within programme lifecycles.

In your first week in this BoM Engineer role, you can expect to:

  • Manage set-up and change to Bills of Material, challenging inputs where appropriate and seek out information required to deliver a coherent and quality Bill of Material for the client both in legacy and future systems
