Vehicle Resilience Engineer/EMC Programme Engineer - Permanent - Nuneaton - £Competitive Salary DOE
I am seeking a Vehicle Resilience Engineer/EMC Programme Engineer for a world-leader in advanced engineering, research and product testing. The Resilience Engineer will join a new team in based within the Vehicle Resilience department. They will form part of an exciting growth strategy for our client. This role will include, but not be limited to, increasing our client's technology automotive service offerings with specific focus on supporting the development of Systems Engineering for EMC & Connectivity.
What You Will Do:
As Vehicle Resilience Engineer/EMC Programme Engineer;

  • Consultancy, assisting specialists in:
    • Delivering large / complex, customer programmes & providing technical support to cross-discipline team(s)
    • Providing internal support to product development teams & leading / assisting research and development projects
    • Problem resolution activities
  • Service Development
    • Development and optimise engineering processes and policies
    • Support cellular and WiFi Over The Air (OTA) and broadcast reception test development
    • Support research of new technology standards and test parameters / equipment
    • Support the generation and validation of new capabilities
  • Project Management
    • Support cross-discipline delivery across core programmes / projects



What You Will Need:
As Vehicle Resilience Engineer/EMC Programme Engineer;
Essential experience for this role would include:

  • Degree qualified Engineer, having a minimum of 5 years' experience in relevant field
  • Technical expertise with emphasis on the development and delivery of OTA and other connectivity testing
  • Proven ability to develop new test methods.
  • Commercial awareness, tasking and accountability, service quality and timely delivery
  • An excellent understanding of the principles behind communications performance testing which must include a minimum of cellular and WiFi
  • Proven background in process improvement and problem resolution projects
