Job Title: UX/UI Manager

Location: Pudong, Shanghai, China


Salary: Excellent (DOE)

An exciting opportunity for a UX/UI Manager has arisen with this global automobile manufacturer in the Pudong region of Shanghai. The individual will be required to lead a team of user experience strategies, as well as interact with Designers and Researchers to research and develop concepts for the new customer experiences and other features for in-vehicle and out-of-vehicle scenarios.


  • Manage a team to deliver user interface requirements and user experience strategies for my business
  • Conduct user research and evaluations-design and analyse user behaviour, interactions and other elements of product design
  • Partner closely with business, teams to suggest conceptual designs based in functional and business requirements
  • Partner closely with product owners and product managers to refine designs and product requirements
  • Validate research and develop product user experiences and customer interactions

  • Bachelor or Master of Arts at any of the following: Marketing, Communications, Product Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, Design or Bachelor or Master of Science at any of the following: Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar fields
  • Knowledge of design thinking, user experience design and similar practices
  • Self-learner of in-vehicle and mobility related applications
  • Strong communication and presentation skills to communicate with product managers globally
  • Ability to create a collaborative team environment and under aggressive timelines
  • Accustomed to operating in a product-drive/with agile methodologies
  • Ability to define trends in digital industries, product design and usability to update and adjust product design direction
  • Highly fluent in English and Mandarin; Candidates-flexible with the hours due to time differences between markets

Special Knowledge Required:
  • Professional exposure in Product, Product Engineering, Product Design, Digital Design, Marketing, Art, Architecture
  • Experience with rapid prototyping, user research and the interaction
