UK Facilities Manager - Melksham

We have an extremely interesting role for a UK Facilities Manager, for a world leading sub-systems supplier to the Rail Industry and accountable for the supervision of all their plants/sites, including activities such as site maintenance, renovation and expansion, ensuring environmental, health and safety and site security compliance but to be based at their facility in Melksham.

As the UK Facilities Manager, you will:

  • Coordinate internal and/or external resources to develop facility (site, production plant) layouts/specifications and specialised technical building infrastructure concepts
  • Supervise maintenance of the UK sites' mechanical and electrical systems and other facilities equipment to meet requirements
  • Ensure all sites are maintained to legislative and statute requirements or better
  • travel to other Group UK sites

Professional experience and qualifications:

  • Business management qualification
  • BIFM qualification facilities Management
  • Proven working experience in Facilities maintenance/supervision
  • Training in legislative/regulation requirements desirable
  • IOSH or NEBOSH Health and Safety
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • CAD skills essential
  • Experience with SAP desirable


  • Salary - £35,000 to £50,000 negotiable dependent upon experience
