Treasury Specialist - 35902 - up to £365 per day

Based at: Coventry


Position Description:
Short-term contract to cover sickness leave for member of Business Assurance team. Role would primarily involve performing Sarbanes-Oxley testing covering the design and operation of controls within the Corporate Treasury function reporting to the Head of Sarbanes-Oxley. The role would involve working closely with key individuals in the Treasury function and Business Assurance to undertake and robustly document testing using existing test scripts, but also to apply judgement to identify any potential additional risks which may not be addressed by existing controls.

Skills Required:

Essential:

  • Qualified / part qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc) - part qualified only if other work experience is extensive
  • Experience of reviewing and improving processes/internal control
  • Extensive experience of Sarbanes-Oxley controls testing work (recent)
  • Good understanding of SOX requirements around Management Review Controls (MRC) and Information Provided by the Entity (IPE)
  • Experience of working in a Corporate Treasury function (or testing controls in a corporate treasury function) or of doing SOX work in financial services environment (corporate banking)
  • MS Excel basic skills
