Title: Technical Expertise Engineer

Contract Position based at: University of Warwick

Rate: up to £33.04/hr Ltd umbrella

Position Description:

Technical Expertise Engineer required to work in Engineering Hall and Electrical Labs section of Research and Innovation dept based at NAIC Warwick University.

Research and Innovation is a satellite operation to the main sites. As such personnel are required on occasion to complete tasks as directed which may fall outside what would be expected of normal workshop operations e.g., assist with office moves, events preparation and other project related tasks as requested and deemed reasonable for role.

Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Mechanical Workshop Experience
• Electrical Workshop Experience High
• Voltage Experience
• Relevant qualifications to complete tasks in an Engineering workshop ideally both Mechanical teardown, modification/fabrication and refit/installation.
• Electrical installation, diagnosis, repair working in high voltage systems.
• Experience working with a Tier 1 or other OEM in Prototype assembly.

Education:

Relevant HND or equivalent
