Role: Technical Campaign Specialist (Inside IR35)

Location: Chichester

Full time: 40 hours p/w

Rate: Up to £26.81p/h Ltd/Umb, (£20.05p/h PAYE) DOE


We require a Technical Campaign Specialist for an Automotive client in Chichester, who will be responsible for all active vehicle Technical Campaigns for our global markets. Monitoring and looking at opportunities to improve completion rates for outstanding Recalls and Campaigns. Liaising with our regional teams to ensure compliance is maintained, by adhering to the worldwide authority legislations and expectations for each market.

As the Technical Campaign Specialist your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing regional recall completion rates against global market authority derived performance targets. Consulting with regional teams to close off open recalls within their market, ensuring momentum is being maintained against established action plans to maximise results.
  • Evaluate target adherence to ensure every opportunity has been taken to repair vehicles during dealer workshop visits, following-up on any overlooked campaign cases with the regional managers. Examine corrective actions taken by the dealerships to recover and prevent reoccurrence.
  • Reviewing monthly results to ensure regional teams remain compliant to their local authority directives, completing any potential violation auditing checks, before final reports are published. Confirm corrective measures are in place and updated in all processes/systems to prevent repeat failures.
  • Creating Recall completion quarterly reports and share them directly to the main global authorities. Evaluating the results against the initial projected forecasts and verify implemented improvement plans where required.
  • Identify opportunities to close campaigns through the analysis of other data systems. Share results with relevant central departments to agree and align on campaign closure requirements.

As the Technical Campaign Specialist, you should have the following skills/experiences/competencies:

  • Business management process experience in the automotive sector or a commercial understanding of dealer business functions would be beneficial.
  • Self-motivated, able to make own decisions and order of priority, be experienced in handling a wide variety of issues against tight deadlines maintain a high level of accuracy with a strong attention to detail.
  • Cultural understanding within all markets, considering customer expectations across the various continents. Professional in all aspects of presenting and collaborating with stakeholders, and excellent communication to all levels throughout the business.
  • Able to identify issues and create action plans, monitoring progress through to fruition.
  • Vehicle technical knowledge would be an advantage. Good analytical skills, being able to review and understand data. High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Previous SAP experience/knowledge would be an advantage.
  • Additional languages would be an advantage, especially German.
