Technical And Quality Assurance Manager



We are recruiting a Technical And Quality Assurance Manager to work for a Company with a heritage since 1927 in powder processing for highly regulated and quality-sensitive sectors.

The Technical And Quality Assurance Manager will ensure that the business delivers goods and services to its customers consistently to specification through the support and maintenance an accredited quality system.

Key Responsibilities of the Technical And Quality Assurance Manager:

Quality system: Support the maintenance of an ISO-accredited quality management system (QMS)

covering that also meets other relevant customer requirements and standards (e.g. NAS).Document relevant SOPs.

Customer complaints: Carry out detailed investigations of customer complaints using QMS defined procedures; Determine preventative/corrective actions and ensure their implementation;

Review with management team and close out with customers in a timely manner.

Internal non-conformances: Maintain system to capture internal non-conformances. Carry out cross functional internal investigations using QMS procedures. Determine corrective/preventative actions. Document & review with management team once completed.

Technical Requirements.

Management Competency: Build up an understanding of powder characterisation techniques including the various methods and models of of particle size measurement. Engage through industry forums, blogs or otherwise with such industries to demonstrate and promote the company's expertise.

Customers: Interface with existing and any new customers and their enquiries as appropriate on technical matters relating to powder products.

Build relationships and promote a culture of collaboration and innovation with key customer technical and R&D teams.

Heath & Safety: Provide visible safety leadership and technical input into the health and safety

management process and working practices.

Transportation: Working with designated third party freight forwarding partner, understand and

ensure compliance with regulations relating to transportation of dangerous goods
