A Talent Acquisition Manager is required to provide leadership, partnering with hiring managers and HR business partners, to set and drive recruitment strategy, process, tools, and metrics while managing the outsourced recruitment providers. Candidates with a proven track record of delivering multiple volume recruitment campaigns, gained in a customer-facing role would be well received.

Due to increased workloads this global company, based in Basildon, requires a proactive Talent Acquisition Manager to lead European-wide external hiring projects. As a Talent Acquisition Manager you will be required to:

  • In partnership with hiring managers and HR Business Partners, develop plans to attract critical skills and talent, in line with the company's Diversity and Inclusion strategy
  • Implement and ensure consistency with our recruiting policies and procedure
  • Represent Talent Acquisition in Britain and oversee relationships with recruitment preferred suppliers and other external organisations
  • Select first class suppliers, using our procurement process, develop robust SLA's and manage outsource partners against those SLA's and KPI's
  • Responsible for robust budget and cost management of recruitment activities
  • Operate as an expert in industry best practices, monitoring new trends and opportunities to consistently raise the standard for recruitment
  • Utilise emerging digital trends to ensure the company's place in the recruitment market, leveraging the global brand
  • Work with counterparts in Europe and globally, to maximise alignment of best practice recruitment processes and policy
  • Track and analyse statistical recruiting data to determine effectiveness of all recruiting activities, including time to hire and cost per hire

The Talent Acquisition Manager should have the following skills or experience:

  • Degree qualified and ideally CIPD qualified
  • Experience of working with an outsourced recruitment provider, including management of service level agreements, KPI's and budget responsibility
  • A wide understanding of the UK recruitment market with experience in delivering projects across a range of disciplines and seniority levels
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, skilled at partnering with, and influencing, HR and Management partners across multiple skill teams
  • Demonstrated customer service focus, and proven track record in providing an excellent candidate experience and meeting SLA goals
  • Comfortable operating with a relatively high degree of independence and open to working as part of a global team
