The Senior Development Engineer will work with external suppliers and internal teams to define and execute all the development test activity for the powertrain unit. You will act as primary point of contact for all development test activities for initial and ongoing products

As Senior Powertrain Development Engineer - you will;

• To improve the Product Design through experimental techniques
• Plan and manage the DVP activities
• Develop the powertrain alongside current and future legislation
• Lead the product development activity in-house and externally
• Specify and install appropriate instrumentation based on test requirements
• Responsible for competitor benchmarking
• Justify any capital investment for in-house test facilities

As Senior Powertrain Development Engineer - you will have

• Degree qualified engineer or equivalent with relevant industry experience
• Ability to understand technical issues
• Focused approach with results orientated; 'can do' attitude
• Ability to communicate externally & internally at all levels, with focus on technical items
• Always Operating with full integrity
• High energy to drive results with enthusiasm and pace
• Willingness to travel, when necessary
