£50k - £55k dependent on experience


Stourbridge - commutable from Birmingham, Worcester, Redditch, Wolverhampton and Solihull


Our Client are looking for a senior or lead Full-Stack Developer who is looking for a role within a close-knit and ethical organisation in well-appointed Stourbridge.

This would really suit someone who is looking for a long-term career and is willing to develop leadership and vision within a rewarding team who embraces challenges.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK at the point of application, as no visa sponsorship is available for this role.


Job Purpose

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a market leading software based in Stourbridge that provide solutions for the automotive finance industry.


Purely a Dev role, there is no requirement for style sheets or design flare.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience (> 8 years) across multiple organisations in developing web applications with an excellent attention to detail as well as good communication skills. This experience can be in any language/platform but should cover the entire stack of an application: client side (web-based), server side (API/middleware).

As well as strong development skills, deployment/OS experience will be required (to be clear, this is a development role with a small amount of Dev Ops at certain times).

Our application is based upon a platform involving PHP, Elastic Search, Cassandra and Apache Spark and therefore candidates with exposure to these technologies would be extremely advantageous.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

- Develop API end points/scripts against both technical and functional requirements

- Employ industry best practice when writing code

- Mentor/provide assistance to other developers

- Take a lead in the team (not management but happy to take some leadership responsibilities)
