Equipment Condition Monitoring Engineer
Heavy Mobile Plant Equipment
Contract rates to c£34 per hour
Can you offer a knowledge of heavy mobile plant and auxiliary equipment rules and legislation? You'll be likely Engineering Degree qualified, have a background in Manufacturing and Assembly environments and have a knowledge of Casting and Machining Shop Floor Operations. This Condition Monitoring Engineer role will demand the confidence and ability to manage Supplier relationships to ensure the enhanced production of Components and Assemblies.
In addition to managing ongoing Supplier Performance and driving Continuous Improvements programmes, the role will also require;

  • The monitoring of supplier adherence to Process Change Notification on a timely and cost effective basis.
  • To ensure all relevant requirements and related changes are thoroughly documented e.g. Process FMEA {failure mode & effects analysis}, Process Control Plans, Process flow chart, Gage R&R {repeatability & reproducibility}).
  • To Validate Supplier stated Process Capabilities.
  • Completing PPAPs (production part approval process) and approval prior to delivery of new parts
  • The auditing of overall supplier capability and process control implementation and effectiveness to validate process capability.
  • To ensure resolution and implementation of robust solutions for quality problems associated with purchased materials and engineering issues (Robust 8D adherence and closure).
  • Regular participation in quality improvement meetings.
  • Project Leadership/Planning and Prioritising the completion of own work assignments and coordinating work with others.

Successful candidates will offer good interpersonal communication, analytical, leadership and project management skills to develop a cooperative working relationships with others both inside and outside of the organisation. A working knowledge of Metrology and APQP experience is required.
