Sales Support Manager

An Sales Support Manager with experience of dealing with sales administration is required for a permanent contract for an annual salary of up to £37,000 and will be based in Solihull for a manufacturing client.

Responsibilities:

  • Own all aspects of quotation and document preparation processes for respective region and is responsible for documenting and distributing all policies and procedures
  • Monitors performance results of respective sales desk
  • Provides leadership and training to the sales support staff
  • Develops and conducts performance management process reviews for staff in a timely manner.
  • Develops, administers and manages training plans to maximize development, performance and potential of staff
  • Instructs and leads staff in providing finance/lease rate quotations and documentation to dealers, end-users, and personnel
  • Assists dealer and region office personnel with alternative quotations for national accounts
  • Facilitates the preparation of quotations for dealer loans and other wholesale programs
  • Assists with the development of quoting and pricing medians for customers and dealers and provides training to end-users
  • Ensures all transactions are priced in accordance with local marketing policy
  • Participates in accomplishment of continuous improvement objectives for the department


Skills required:

  • A degree in a related degree or extensive experience in a sales support manager role
  • The ideal candidate will be adept and confident dealing with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Applicants will be able to manage training of new staff and end users
  • Strong IT skills including Excel and Word
