Sales and Product Manager Electric Vehicle Software

 

Based in Guildford, our growing client at the forefront of digital mapping/transport solutions is seeking a new Sales and Product Manager to support the further sales expansion of their business in the UK and internationally.

Their software enables the calculation of travel times over road networks using different modes of transport and gives complete and accurate data on travel for consumers, businesses and transport organisations.

In direct support of the Electric Delivery Vehicle market, they are introducing an innovative routing and scheduling software. This role will help generate Sales of the company's products and services into logistics markets, achieving the company's targets and setting the base for higher future growth. Reporting to the CEO, the role will identify and approach new potential customers to develop new accounts.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing product marketing strategies (pricing, advertising, product launching)
  • Crafting compelling messages across marketing channels
  • Identifying and negotiate with potential partners
  • Working with the appropriate internal staff to develop new business opportunities
  • Generate sales revenue

 

To support this role, you should have:

  • A relevant degree such as Business/IT, Computer Science with Geography or GIS or commercial experience supporting a product through a technical marketing role
  • Experience of using routeing and scheduling applications
  • Experience generating new leads and contact
  • Experience using CRM to capture customer engagement

 

Personal attributes should ideally include:

  • An outgoing personality and the confidence to engage with a broad range of clients and prospects
  • An interest in the transport sector
  • The ability to quickly build rapport and credibility with clients and prospects
  • Able to work independently and proactively
  • Ability to confidently deliver presentations to customers and stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and overseas as required
