My client is one of the world's leading companies when it comes to integrated acoustics solutions as well as sound and vibration analysis. Predominantly servicing the Automotive and Telecommunications industry, my client offers bespoke products and solutions to key customers on a global scale.

They are currently seeking a talented Key Account Manager to focus on UK customer sales within the Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) division.

Your duties and responsibilities will include the following:

  • To understand and respond to technical sales enquiries relating to NVH products and solutions, often being the first point of contact for the customer
  • Following up on sales leads and proposals in relation to the company's NVH products, which will involve preparing and sending detailed quotations for customers
  • Using your technical ability, you'll be able to provide professional demonstrations of product systems that match customers technical requirements
  • Maintaining existing customer relationships is vital in order to identify repeat business opportunities
  • You'll also play a key part in competitor analysis, monitoring the market and playing a key part in ensuring that your company's product offering remains ahead of the curve
  • Efficient communications with internal stakeholders is also key, whether that would be in a commercial or technical context

We are looking for the following:

  • An experienced Sales/Applications Engineer with a strong technical competence in the field of noise and vibration data acquisition and analysis
  • Experience of NVH sales is essential
  • An excellent communicator who is able to build relationships with key customers
  • You'll be able to plan and prioritise work using your own initiative as well as being an active team member
  • As well as being technically very strong, you'll have a high degree of commercial acumen
  • Being degree educated is a must, ideally within Acoustics and Vibration, or equivalent
