We require several Sales Account Managers for one of the world's leading logistics companies and leading global provider of integrated supply chain solutions. This a fantastic opportunity to join a global leading company, who offer excellent opportunities for:

You will be joining the Freight and Logistics team at the heart of the business in Bristol, Poole, Glasgow, Wakefield, or Nottingham, to achieve sales through service and deliver effective account management.

As the Freight Account Manager, you will be required to:

  • Consistently grow the gross profit and achieve the targets as set out in the Freight Account, by maximising all revenue opportunities from existing clients
  • Generate new prospect leads and new accounts over the telephone and face-to-face
  • Process and monitor consignments and enter telesales information on to the Contact Management System
  • Provide customers with accurate and cost-effective quotations
  • Prepare weekly/monthly figures of sales activity as instructed by the Branch Manager
  • Always provide the highest level of internal and external customer care and service

The Freight Account Manager require the following competencies or skills

  • Excellent customer service skills, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Demonstrate an ability to negotiate and influence others both internally and externally
  • Experience of working in a proactive sales role either on the phone or face-to-face, and the ability to work to targets and deadlines
  • GCSE Maths and English Grade C or Above (or equivalent)
  • Full driving licence
  • Have proven experience of stakeholder management and networking to achieve results
