Regional Sales Manager

South East,

Technical and Engineering Sales leadership

This well-established, multi-national engineering and technical services business has a need for an outstanding sales and account management professional to lead their team in the South East.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Lead, you will lead a team of Technical and Direct sales professionals, responsible for driving our sales efforts in the South East of England.

In this role you will work alongside the Regional Sales Management team, helping to lead and drive profitable sales growth through the external sales team that is aligned to the strategic vision of the company. You will be leading a large team of professional sales including Regional Account Managers and Technical Sales, you will drive growth through positive management of key performance indicators. You will have a track record of developing sales professionals to hit and exceed their sales targets and budgets.

From a sales point of view, you will be responsible for regional sales activity in the East of England to develop the team to deliver growth, both in revenue and margin mainly in the Key & Strategic customer base.

Ideally you will have experience in a similar high-profile sales role, or aspirations to lead a sales team with a successful track record of B2B selling perhaps in a similar engineering services business or an OEM , you will ideally have worked in an engineering or technical sales solutions company and are looking for your next challenge.

The business has just gone through a major restructure, responding to global changes in the market and because of this they are well placed to back you with the tools and training required to succeed in this role, but aside from that, you will use your experience and persona to inspire and coach others within the salesforce in the South East.
