REGIONAL OPERATIONS MANAGER

Our client is recruiting for a Regional Operations Manager in our Western region to deliver day-to-day management and support to a team of onsite managers and their reports at some of our key customers.
With experience in a regional management role, you will ideally have worked in an engineering or technical industry, with experience of providing services and products to a multitude of different clients across multiple locations.
From automotive to aerospace and everything in between, the operations division run onsite solutions to the procurement of engineering products and services, with almost 200 sites across the UK and ambition growth plans.
Running a team of Service Centre Managers and their reports, you will drive and ensure they are maintaining excellence in customer service standards, supporting their personal and team aspirations to make them realise their potential.
Experience of using ERP and/or CRM systems is a must for this role, as is the required enthusiasm and relationship building skills to ensure world class customer service delivery.

The holder of this role will be part of a regional operations team responsible for the delivery of operational and service excellence.
Part of a team responsible for the renegotiation and renewal of the contracts under his/her responsibility
This role will help shape our operations moving forward, from both a standards and service perspective, and will assist in the creation and embedding of future business practices and processes.
Skills and knowledge:
Ideally you will have experience of managing P&L, budgets, negotiation of terms, contracts and financials and adverse with remote multisite operation management
Excellent commercial acumen
General knowledge of the UK MRO Market Understanding of core operations and business processes ideally within an engineering sector or background
Strong team player with a desire to support the delivery of common business goals Sets and maintains high standards of work
experienced in the management and delivery of operational excellence across multi-site locations
Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and motivate a team Communication and inter-personal skills, including written, oral and presentational
Experience of managing high performance, de-centralised teams, across multiple locations
Focuses on customer needs and satisfaction
Monitors performance against deadlines and milestones
Listens, consults others and communicates pro-actively
Takes account of a wide range of issues across and related to the organisation
Motivates and empowers others
