Do you want to work for one of the most iconic and exciting British motoring brands, driving engineering excellence across their range of products? We are looking for an experienced and innovative Quality Manager to head up the Quality Department, developing and driving forward a quality strategy to support the business through a rapid period of growth.

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager with a track record of delivery within the automotive arena, an enthusiastic and capable individual with a hands-on approach to quality who is prepared to lead by example to instil a mindset of Quality-First within a busy supply chain.

You will need to demonstrate the ability to manage a high degree of change within an organisation and will be responsible for:

  • Creating, developing and managing the quality team
  • Reviewing all existing documentation and procedures with the view of making improvements and recommendations where appropriate
  • Developing & maintaining the Quality Manual and all supporting procedures and policies
  • Install and police quality procedures and drive the business towards a 'Zero Defect' mentality
  • Actively promote quality across the business
  • Complete all relevant audits
  • Support the Purchasing Manager to develop the supply chain
  • Manage goods-in inspection, resolving any issues with both suppliers & purchasing
  • Support the business in achieving its strategic objectives
  • Produce department KPIs measuring performance and adherence across the business

As a Quality Manager you should have experience in the following:

  • Development and maintenance of quality management systems, processes  and procedures
  • Leadership and development of a quality department
  • Knowledge of process improvement techniques (8D, 5Y, Six Sigma) 
  • exposure to product and process inspection and auditing (internal and external) 
  • Non-conformance, root cause analysis, waste elimination and scrap reduction
  • Hands on and committed approach with excellent communication skills can be used to influence the culture across business operations
