Project Manager (eCommerce/transformation)
Paying up to £550 per day

A Project Manager (eCommerce/transformation) with experience of global strategic project management is required to provide support to a manufacturing market leader on a temporary basis for an initial 3 month period in Coventry and is paying up to £550 per day.

Role responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the Customer Services business readiness work stream: from scoping to delivery and including cross-functional engagement and stakeholder management, ensuring quality, cost and timescales are prioritised as appropriate
  • Ensure delivery of the customer services business readiness work stream utilising project management techniques to ensure the delivery and achievement of planned outputs in support of implementing new car online sales into the business and its franchise network
  • Be the key product owner for the design of any training required for staff and oversee its delivery by training team/deliver where appropriate
  • Plan for and manage project risks, issues and dependencies to maximise likelihood of project success, escalating upwards where necessary
  • Management of required Governance, including milestone reporting, project status reporting, financial reporting and risk and issue management

The successful candidate will:

  • Expertise of delivering transformation change in Customer Services for automotive or another blue chip company (ESSENTIAL)
  • A strong project manager background in a similar role (eCommerce change and delivery of change)
  • Experience working with/on connected products and data projects
  • Have the ability to work cross functionally
  • A background in the roll out of large scale projects with multiple projects
  • An understanding of the digital landscape, channels and how to use to target and engage customers effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to establish rapport, credibility and relationships at a senior level across the business
  • Have excellent IT skills including with Word and Excel
  • Be a self-starter
  • Be able to work to strict deadlines with a delivery focus
