Project Engineer - Food Manufacturing and Processing - Banbury - Circa £46k plus 10% bonus.

In this case we are looking for a Project Engineer. You will join a small team of Project Engineers reporting to a Project Engineering Manager in a largely automated processing based plant. We have a lot to do this year with a lot of improvement and CAPEX projects planned of which you will play a key role. You will be delivering on all aspects of a project from conception to completion. You activities will include feasibility studies, providing technical reports, obtaining and evaluating supplier quotations and tenders, writing capital investment proposals, preparing project time scales and then managing the communication of project status. In short, everything you would expect to do as a full time professional Project Engineer.
We have a couple of very hands on Engineers in the team and in this case we are looking for someone that can work with and manage suppliers, external contractors and all internal stakeholders and engineering teams. You will be effectively managing the delivery of projects which includes ensuring all activities are undertaken safely and within company processes ensuring on time and in budget delivery. The scope of the role will include all plant and machinery on site, the building and all building services.
To be successful in this role you will be ideally degree qualified or minimum HND in a relevant engineering discipline. You will need to have solid working knowledge and experience of electrical, mechanical and process or machine automation and associated control systems. Applicants holding a NEBOSH general certificate and holding formal project management training such as Prince2 would be of particular interest. If you have experience of working with MS Project and CAD systems that would really help in the delivery of your duties. Due to the nature of upcoming projects training in current CDM regulations would also be an advantage.
