A Program Manager is required with knowledge of new product launch into major OEM's having excellent leadership, communication and delivery skills. Candidates with experience of Project, Financial Management and NPI in the automotive industry would be well received.

Due to continued growth, my client in the West Midlands requires a proactive and focused Program Manager with strong communication skills pulling together product engineering, manufacturing and cross functional teams for this challenging opportunity within the 1st Tier arena. As a Program Manager, you will be required to:

  • Lead product development programs to deliver new products from design sign off through to job 1 plus 90 days
  • Being in full control of financial management of the program
  • Liaise with major OEM's to identify and rectify build issues, reporting back to the Product Development Team on recommendations and design modifications
  • Be the interface with the customer giving guidance on all design and launch activities through each stage and gateway of the launch process to sign off

The Program Manager should have the following skills or experience:

  • Executing the launch of new products from design sign off through all manufacturing phases within a product development arena
  • Effective communication, coordination and organisational skills in pulling together cross functional teams to resolve design and manufacturing issues to meet desired gateways
  • Ensuring technical changes are delivered, suppliers are effectively sourced and all milestones are achieved within time and budgetary constraints
