The role will be based in Dunton Essex for the planning and delivery of EU emotor manufacturing programs. Contractees will be embedded within the engineering teams to support program delivery and collaborate on the future of electrified powertrain manufacturing.

Position Description:

• E-motor Process Engineer: Process engineering within our electric rotor & stator assembly team

Skills Required:

• Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning & Project management, Problem solving, Cost estimation, Supplier relations, Equipment acceptance and installation, Quality control.

Skills Preferred:

• E-motor function and theory.
• Proficient with data analytics tools (Q-DAS/Matlab/Alteryx).
• Proficient with CAD software (Autodesk).

Experience Required:

• Manufacturing engineering or experience within a similar manufacturing environment.
• Specification, procurement and commissioning of manufacturing systems.

Experience Preferred:

• Experience in electric motor manufacture or design.
• Experience with stator or rotor manufacturing or design.
• Experience in powertrain manufacture or design.
• Experience in high volume automotive manufacturing systems.

Education Required:

• BEng, BSc or equivalent.

Education Preferred:

• Six Sigma Green/Black Belt.
