Powertrain Engineer / PTIM Engineer - 53670

An experienced Powertrain PTIM Engineer is required to join an automotive OEM based in Dagenham.

Rate increased for this role - £31.90 per hour LTD rate

Position Description:

The PTIM Engineer will be park of the Powertrain Integration and Program Management function for Powertrain programs.

Skills Required:

• Project management and negotiation skills will be required.
• Programme Management skills are essential, the person will be a BOM subject matter specialist and will interface with the BOM Ops team and launch teams for new model programmes primarily, they’ll also manage P release progs.  
• Must know BOM tools inside and out (FEDEBOM ideally), WERS knowledge required to. Powertrain background will be given preference.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management including cross-functionally

Experience Required:

A Degree in Engineering discipline and Understanding of Program business fundamentals such as TFLE costs, PMS charts, VPPs, Quality waterfalls etc

Experience Preferred:

Good working knowledge of GPDS, FEDEBOM, SALT, eFDVS and other Project Management tools
