Division: Engineering Operations

Contract Position based at: Gaydon

Rate: up to £28.10/hr Ltd (c£21.59/hr PAYE option)

Position Description:

This role supports the Product Engineering function. This role coordinates and manages operational processes within Engineering Resource Planning. With business wide exposure, this role will provide an excellent customer experience to internal and/or external customers. This role sits in Engineering Resource Planning and will manage the implementation / support the launch of the new resource planning tool, provide key data analytics to support the wider resource planning team and manage day to day resource queries ensuring they are resolved quickly and implementing process improvements where appropriate.

Skills Required:

Analytical - Must be proficient in excel and have the ability to analyse and understand a varied range of data in different formats. Must be able to quickly spot and resolve data issues. Communication - Must be able to engage within the cross functional teams and key stakeholders at all levels in the business.

Coordination - must be able to manage and deliver operational processes and key work streams to meet the strategic objectives of the area and to drive efficiencies.

Experience Required:

The candidates should have experience in a fast paced customer facing role and be able to deliver operational processes ensuring deliverables meet strategic objectives for the area. They will need to be a good communicator with the ability to communicate complex ideas. They must be able to work to deadlines and deliver requests for management information and reporting. They must have experience of and the ability to drive efficiencies, improve processes and have an enthusiastic approach to this. They should have an understanding of the implications of key business drivers including volumes, economic factors, business trends and market movements. The candidates should be well organised. Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Experience Preferred:

Project management processes and techniques experience. Experience of working within a resource planning/Hr/headcount related role/team.
