An opportunity has arisen for a PFMEA Engineer to work for this luxury automotive OEM based in the Warwickshire area. As PFMEA Engineer you will be working with the AME T&F Bill of Process/Foundation Quality team. The foundation PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Cause Effect) Engineer will report to the Foundation Quality Lead Engineer(s) and will be responsible for creating foundation PFMEA & control plan documents and linking closely with Bill of process standards.
Taking multiple data feeds, including interacting with Bill of Process engineers, Product Engineering Foundation quality engineers & AME T&F programme engineers to develop foundation Process Failure Mode Cause Effect & foundation Control plan documentation. These foundation documents will be deployed into the AME trim and Final programme teams and then constantly updated and developed.
As PFMEA Engineer, you will have the following:
- (PFMEA) Process Failure Mode Effect Avoidance & Control plan Methodology
- Product and Process Risk Analysis - looking out for potential risks and identifying mitigating controls
- Creation of standard FMEA & controls documentation
