People & Culture Manager (HR Manager) - UK & Europe - Based South Birmingham - Salary £40k to £49,500 per annum DOE

So you are a HR Manager, running your own team, delivering projects across process and operational improvement but feel like you need a little bit more? How would People and Culture Manager - UK and Europe sound on your CV? This is not role role for the faint hearted but a great opportunity to join a business operating globally that has been supplying capital equipment to food manufacturing for over 30 years.

The role will see you delivering the full scope strategic and day to day HR management from strategic development of policies and procedures through to employ relations across your region. You will be an advisor and trusted expert in relation to subject matter across for example training, health and safety, employee relations, communication and employment law compliance advising and supporting line and department managers accordingly.

It would be great if you can crunch the numbers, delivering metrics and data in areas such as turn over, leave liability, exit interview statistics, headcount and where possible advising and recommendations to the business for improvement followed by the project delivery.

As people and culture manager you will also play a key role in supporting recruitment activities from defining requirements and advert writing through to process management and on boarding. This will include selecting, managing and working with recruitment agencies while ensuring as much direct recruitment as possible through collaboration with hiring managers.

As you can see the role covers the full scope in terms of work. You will be based in South Birmingham supporting a headcount of 135 predominantly technical/engineering orientated hires. Your region will cover the UK, northern and southern Europe and a satellite in South Africa. Occasionally there will be a requirement for some international travel.

To be successful in this role you will be ideally qualified to degree level in Human Resource Management or equivalent and will be highly experienced. We are very keen to speak with applicants with exposure to manufacturing environments, ideally food manufacturing due to the nature of the business.
