Title: Payroll Administrator
Contract Position based at: Solihull
Rate: - Up to £20.33/hour Ltd Co (which equals c£15.70/hour PAYE)
Variety of monthly and weekly payrolls for circa 35,000 UK employees. To work as part of a large team processing Payroll efficiently and accurately. Compliance of UK legislation and internal company policies. Compliance of internal and external audit controls. Ensure completion of time capture through T & A systems. Build and develop excellent business working relationships and deliver excellent customer service. Working with the wider payroll team as part of a team to participate with projects, process improvements, company objectives and assist in driving the business strategies forward.
Key Responsibilities: To process weekly/monthly payrolls as part of a large payroll team, ensuring successful BACS submission, working to strict, set and agreed deadlines. Completion of monthly RTI submissions. Perform manual payroll & Pension calculations. Have a thorough understanding of all aspects of payroll from start to finish. Keep up to date with current and future legislation. Manage and process 'Early Year Updates' when applicable. Completion & submission of monthly PAYE. Experience of salary sacrifice schemes 'Childcare', 'Pension' and `Cycle to Work' etc. Experience of 'Court Orders' & 'Attachment of earnings'. Experience of all year-end requirements. Dealing with internal and external queries. To support and be a key member of the team in the deployment of NGA Resource Link and Kronos time capture applications, with associated best practice procedures and controls. To assist in producing documented procedures for all payroll activities. Deliver accurate and compliant payroll processing for a variety of complex terms, conditions and shift patterns. Excellent customer service and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders. Pro-active in identifying changes to payroll, anticipating and managing implications and impact of any change. Support the Payroll Team Leader with on-boarding & training new starters. Managing and maintaining clear and informative communication.
Proven years' experience of working in a large multi-site Payroll Department. Knowledge of Resource Link would be an advantage. Excellent organisation and communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability to work as a 'Team Player'.
